What documents do I need to rent a car?
You’ll need:
->A valid passport or ID
-> A driving licence
-> A credit or debit card
If your licence is not in Latin alphabet, you may need an international driving permit.
Do I need to pay in advance to book a car?
No. We don't require any upfront payment or deposit. You can book with no commitment and cancel or modify your reservation without penalty. We keep things simple and flexible.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car? Can I use a debit card?
Credit cards are preferred, but we also accept debit cards. If you're unsure about your card type, just ask us — we'll guide you through it.
What’s included in the rental price?
Our price includes:

Is there an additional fee if the pick up or drop off time is outside of working hours?
Yes, when deliveries at airports are between 23:00 and 8:00, the price includes a "Late service fee".
It's cost 20€
Do you offer delivery to a hotel/address?
Of course. Conccordcars will take your car wherever you need it in La Manga or in the nearby area. However, you must request it at the time of booking.
Where can I collect and return the car?
We deliver and collect vehicles in La Manga, La Manga Club, Murcia Airport (RMU), Alicante Airport (ALC), and nearby accommodations. Just tell us where, and we’ll meet you there.
How much do they retain from my credit card?
We will only retain from your credit card in case you do not opt for the CDW option in the insurance. The amount will vary between 700 and 900€, depending on the type of vehicle chosen. This amount will be refunded at the end of the rental. In case of contracting the comprehensive insurance, no amount will be retained (ConccordCars Mediterráneo S.L. is not responsible for any extra charges that your bank may make).
Who is authorized to drive the rental vehicle?
Those that appear as the main driver and / or additional drivers in the rental agreement. If you want to add a driver / s once you have the vehicle you will have to contact one of our offices. The new driver (s) must also provide with their valid driver's license. No extra charge.
In case of any incident with a driver not authorized in the contract, all insurance coverage will be cancelled, the renter having to pay the total cost of the damages.
Can I rent a car if I’m under 25?
No. We accept drivers aged 25+ with at least 2 years of driving experience.
Can I make a booking by phone?
You can book your car on our telephone numbers. You can also do it by mail. Even by WhatsApp, using the direct access that you will find if you open this website on your mobile phone.
How can I make an online booking for a rental starting in less than 24 hours?
No, to book on-line, you have to do it at least 48 hours in advance.
Can I choose a specific car model?
No, you cannot reserve a specific model. You book a group, and depending on availability, we will give you a model of that group or higher. However, if you ask for a particular model within our fleet and we have a unit available, we will be happy to serve you.
What does "or similar" mean when we book a car class?
‘Or similar’ means that within each group you will find a reference model, but we have other models with similar characteristics.
When do I pay for my car hire?
Until the moment we hand over the car to you, you don't have to pay anything at all.
What insurances are included in the price?
All cars come with comprehensive insurance included. With excess varying between €700 and €900, depending on the car group selected.
What is Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)?
CDW is the comprehensive insurance, without excess. If you take out this type of insurance, you will not have to pay the excess. The amount of this insurance is not refundable.
Can I add an additional driver?
Yes — additional drivers are free of charge. They simply need to present a valid driving licence at delivery.
Can I place more than one booking at the same time?
Of course. You can make as many bookings as you need, whenever you need.
I made a booking on the web, what's next?
On the Conccordcars website you make a booking request, not a firm booking. As soon as you make it, you will receive confirmation of the booking in less than 48 hours, or if the selected group is not available, we will offer you other possibilities that can be adapted to your needs.
Can I request an invoice for the payment made?
Of course you can ask for the rental invoice. But until the end of the rental period, we will not be able to provide it to you.
Do I need to print the voucher?
No, we do not need you to print the voucher. If you want to do it to check the data on arrival, that's fine.
Can I make changes to the booking?
You can make all the changes you need. But you must communicate it to Conccordcars 48h in advance, by any of the means we offer you.
Can the booking dates be changed?
You can change the dates of the booking as you need, but as we have indicated in the previous point, you must inform Conccordcars as far in advance as possible.
Will I get a refund if I cancel a booking?
No, we will not give you a refund for cancelling your booking, basically because we have not charged you anything in advance.
Will I be charged for cancelling a booking?
No, we will not charge you anything if you need to cancel your booking.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track flight arrivals and adjust your car delivery accordingly. Just share your flight number when booking.
Where should I go to pick up the rental car on my arrival at Alicante or Murcia Airport?
At Murcia airport, Conccordcars staff will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign and will accompany you to the public car park to collect your vehicle. In the case of Alicante, we will be in the hall of the public car park. No long queues or waiting. In your booking confirmation document you will find instructions on how to find us at both airports.
What should I bring when renting a car?
Just your driving licence to verify that you are carrying it and your credit card.
What is the procedure for renting a car?
We will be waiting for you with your rental contract ready, just for you to sign it, pick up your copy and make the payment. If you do not opt for CDW, we will check the car together and note any damage. And that's it. In less than 5 minutes you can start enjoying your holiday.
What is a refundable deposit?
The refundable deposit is the type of deposit we will take if you do not opt for the CDW. The amount will be returned to you at the end of the rental period.
Is there a mileage limit on the rent?
Don't worry, you have unlimited mileage on your holiday. You can visit and go wherever you like.
What happens if I have an accident during the rental?
If you have an accident, first of all stay calm. Then call us and we will provide you with immediate assistance.
What should I do in case of a breakdown or accident?
Contact us immediately. We provide 24/7 assistance and will guide you step-by-step to solve the issue quickly.
What happens if I get a fine?
If you get a fine, when Conccordcars receives it, it must identify the driver. Afterwards, it will come to you... and, sorry, you will have to pay it.
Can I extend the rental period during rental?
Yes, you can extend the rental period. You should let us know as soon as possible, and if it is possible due to availability, it will not be a problem.
What happens if I lose my car keys and/or documents?
Sorry, keys and documentation are not covered by insurance. If they do not turn up, you will have to pay for them
Can I smoke in the car?
You can smoke in the car, but we do not recommend it. Remember, the car must be used by other people and no one likes to find a car that smells bad.
Can animals be transported in the car?
You can transport animals, but you must comply with the obligatory safety regulations (kennels, belts, ...) and the recommended hygiene regulations (covers, protective blankets, ...).
Can I travel outside Spain with the rental car?
No, we are sorry. Conccordcars cars are not allowed to leave Spain.
How should I return the car?
Conccordcars staff will give you instructions on how to return the car, depending on the pick-up point. At both airports it is very simple, just leave the car in the public car park, with the key and the parking ticket in the glove compartment. And, very importantly, the car must be left unlocked.
Do I have to return the car clean?
You do not have to leave the car clean, at least not in the condition in which it will be handed over to you. But we would appreciate it if you do not leave it extremely dirty.
When is my credit card deposit unblocked?
In the event that we have to refund the insurance excess, we will do so within 48-72 hours of the refund. When we check that everything is in the condition it should be.
